Current Phase of Construction: Curtainwall and Interior Fit-Out

  • Noisy work should be expected during most days during this phase of construction.
  • The curtain wall contractor will install soffit and western exterior walls from inside the new building using small lifts and cranes as well as exterior lifts and scaffolding.
  • This phase is anticipated to be complete in Spring 2024.

What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks:

  • Utilities and the fire alarm system are being installed throughout the building.
  • The building enclosure contractor is completing the installation of exterior panels.
  • Layout and installation of interior walls by carpenter.
  • Small pump trucks will be used to install finished concrete floors.
  • Installation of flooring, terrace pavers, kitchen cabinets, millwork, tiling, and painting is in progress.

Studebaker Building Façade Repairs and Roof Replacement

  • The terracotta installation at the ground level will continue at both street elevations until the project's completion this summer. Expect medium to high levels of intermittent drilling noise. This noise will be more noticeable on the lower floors.
  • The estimated completion is August 2024.
