Apply to CU Grow, a Leadership Development Program for Vendors

February 28, 2018

Columbia University is seeking established Minority, Women and Local Business Enterprises (MWLBE) to apply to be part of the second cohort of CU Grow, a Columbia-initiated program designed to help MWLBE vendors of the University grow their businesses.

To be eligible for the program, vendors must be certified minority- or women-owned business enterprises, or be based in Upper Manhattan or the South Bronx, have achieved a level of success, and be an existing vendor of the University or provide a product or service in need at the University.

Program participants engage with skilled coaches, attend sessions to enhance their business acumen, network with industry business leaders and create a growth plan to chart their companies’ growth. In addition, there is a strong emphasis to build vendor relationships with purchasers at Columbia and with University affiliates and partners in an effort to lead to more contracting opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in procurement events over the course of the program.
