What’s Coming to Manhattanville Community Day on June 8
Here’s what to look forward to on Manhattanville Community Day, coming up on June 8.
Manhattanville Community Day is just around the corner! We’re so excited to celebrate with our neighbors and the Upper Manhattan community on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
If you’re a first-timer to the event, Manhattanville Community Day is an annual day dedicated to celebrating the Upper Manhattan community, especially our neighbors in Morningside Heights, West Harlem, and Washington Heights. Everything that takes place during the day is free and available to the public, however, some specific activities may require advanced registration due to supply or space limits.
To spread as much information about this year’s event as we can, we’ve curated this list of frequently asked questions to help newcomers and veterans get acquainted with the day’s activities and how to get involved.

Where is Manhattanville Community Day taking place and where should I go when I arrive?
Manhattanville Community Day takes place on Columbia’s Manhattanville campus, which spans west from Broadway to 12th Avenue, and north from 125th Street to 134th Street.
Community Day officially begins at 12:00 pm. You can start the day by navigating to The Forum at Columbia, a community space open to the public all year long. Right at the front of The Forum’s entrance, there will be a welcome table with volunteers who will be there to orient you on the day's activities. Volunteers will also be stationed all throughout campus to answer any questions you might have.
You can spend time at The Forum before heading out further into campus. This year, many of the community tables and other activities will be centrally located on 129th St., which will be closed to car traffic. To see a full list of what’s coming to Community Day, see below.
