NYP shares some of the efforts under way and resources available through during the current outbreak of Coronavirus,

We would like to share with you some of the efforts under way and resources available through NewYork-Presbyterian during the current outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Health and safety are always our top priorities.

  • The NYP COVID Hotline 646-697-4000 has been created to answer questions about COVID-19.We have also developed the Coronavirus Frequently Asked Questions document linked to below, available in multiple languages, and the NYP Coronavirus webpage: https://www.nyp.org/coronavirus-information
  • NewYork-Presbyterian’s Virtual Urgent Care is available for people who are not feeling well and have non-life-threatening symptoms such as fever, cough, upset stomach, or nausea. This is an online, telehealth service. Visit https://www.nyp.org/ondemand/urgent-care
  • Some NewYork-Presbyterian practices may be offering online, video-based Virtual Visits with a physician to support social distancing efforts. For more information on virtual visits, please visit: https://www.nyp.org/ondemand/virtual-visit. We are also encouraging patients to reschedule well-visits for later dates.
  • Urgent and emergency surgeries and procedures at NewYork-Presbyterian are continuing. However, elective procedures and surgeries are postponed beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. You can see our full message here: https://www.nyp.org/coronavirus-information/message-for-our-patients

  • Large group meetings and onsite events are postponed or canceled. Some support groups are now meeting via phone or WebEx. Please check events.nyp.org for details.
