Dos Toros and Hex & Co. Coming to 2911 Broadway

Columbia University is adding two new tenants, both of which will bring expand the eating and socializing opportunities to the Morningside Heights area. 

Set to open this fall at 2911 Broadway, between 113th and 114th Streets, a new Dos Toros location will serve customizable burritos, burrito bowls, salads, tacos, quesadillas and nachos made with naturally raised meats, as well as offering catering in the area. Based in New York City and founded in 2009, Dos Toros has demonstrated a commitment to sustainable restaurant practices, and to supporting the community. In 2016, Dos Toros was honored as the Employer of the Year for their dedication to employing formerly incarcerated individuals through the Getting Out and Staying Out program, which is based in Harlem.

In addition to Dos Toros, local board game café Hex & Co. is relocating to a larger space at 2911 Broadway. After their anticipated move in the first quarter of 2020, the 4,300 square feet of the new location will offer them more than three times as much space to accommodate patrons hoping to enjoy the more than 1,000 board games and more than 40 varieties of beer Hex and Co. offers, as well as their extensive menu.
