What is Happening
Columbia Business School
Site 7 (Western Site)
- Completion of exterior wall glass-fiber reinforced concrete unit installations is ongoing on levels 4 through 11
- Exterior wall glass installation is ongoing on level 1, north and south facades
- Riser ductwork and pipe installation is ongoing
- Interior fit-outs and overhead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation is ongoing on levels 1 through 11
- Finishes program is in progress on levels 3 through 7
- Hoist removal scheduled to begin in October
Site 6B (Eastern Site)
- Completion of exterior wall glass-fiber reinforced concrete unit installations is ongoing on levels 2 through 8
- Fin tube radiator installation on the west façade
- Interior fit-outs and overhead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation is ongoing on levels 2 through 8
- Riser ductwork and pipe installation is ongoing
Below Grade Activity / W. 131st Street Utilities
- Installation of storm, sanitary piping, electrical conduits, low voltage and HVAC ductwork is ongoing
- Buildout work including metal panel installation of the loading dock is progressing
- Wall framing and sheetrock work are ongoing throughout
- Waterproofing of the sump pits is ongoing
Open Spaces between 130th and 131st Streets and along 12th Avenue
- Inner and outer ring formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement is ongoing
- Perimeter trench drain formwork, reinforcement, and concrete placement
- Electrical sleeve installation
- Waterproofing subsurface preparation underway
- Light pole pier formwork and rebar installation
W. 125th Street South Side Demolition
- Demolition of the warehouse at 614 W. 125th Street is underway. Hand demolition on the west side of the warehouse is substantially complete. Mechanical demolition has started and is ongoing. Site backfilling, berm in the rear of the warehouse, slab puncturing, debris sorting and removal, and site grading will be performed.
- Prentis Hall east façade parging is substantially complete and waterproofing is complete.

What to Expect
Construction Activity
- Regular weekday work hours: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday work hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After-hours permit issued for 6:00 a.m. construction start to allow for physical distancing for workers upon entry to the site.
- Material deliveries to site is ongoing
