Current Phase of Construction: Curtainwall and Interior Fit-Out
- Noisy work should be expected during most days during this phase of construction.
- The curtain wall contractor will install soffit and western exterior walls from inside the new building using small lifts and cranes as well as exterior lifts and scaffolding.
- This phase is anticipated to be complete in August 2024, weather permitting.
What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks:
- Utilities and the fire alarm system are being installed and inspected throughout the building.
- The building enclosure contractor is completing the installation of exterior panels.
- Layout and installation of interior walls by carpenter.
- Installation of flooring, terrace pavers, kitchen cabinets, millwork, tiling, and painting is in progress.
Studebaker Building Façade Repairs and Roof Replacement
- The facade project is on hold while the contractor waits for additional stone units to arrive. A few stone units did not pass quality control and needed to be remade. The work will resume when the last of the remaining shipments is delivered around mid-August.
- The estimated completion is now October 2024.
