Current Phase of Construction: Curtainwall and Interior Fit-Out

  • Noisy work should be expected during most days during this phase of construction.
  • The curtain wall contractor will install soffit and western exterior walls from inside the new building using small lifts and cranes as well as exterior lifts and scaffolding.
  • This phase is anticipated to be complete in August 2024, weather permitting.

What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks:

  • Utilities and the fire alarm system are being installed and inspected throughout the building.
  • The building enclosure contractor is completing the installation of exterior panels.
  • Layout and installation of interior walls by carpenter.
  • Small pump trucks will be used to install finished concrete floors.
  • Installation of flooring, terrace pavers, kitchen cabinets, millwork, tiling, and painting is in progress.

Studebaker Building Façade Repairs and Roof Replacement

  • The facade project is on hold while the contractor waits for additional stone units to arrive.  The work will resume when the last of the remaining shipments is delivered around mid-August, a month later than previously stated. A few stone units did not pass quality control and needed to be remade.
  • The estimated completion is now early October 2024.

Please note that all activities are subject to change based on weather and other field conditions.
