Census 2020 Harlem Recruitment Day a Success

On November 13, 2019, Columbia University and the Office of Government and Community Affairs partnered with the Office of Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Manhattan Community Board 9, the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, The City College of New York, and the New York Public Library for a successful Harlem Census Recruitment Day. Recruitment officers from the U.S. Census Bureau were present at 7 Upper Manhattan locations to answer questions and assist with applications for 2020 census taker positions. 

Locations included the North Academic Center at City College (pictured below), the Columbia University Employment Information Center (pictured below), the Manhattan Borough President’s Office on 125th Street (pictured below), the Community Board 9 office, the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, and both the George Bruce and Hamilton Grange Libraries.
