Uptown Artisanal is a collective of small businesses and artisans from Upper Manhattan who banded together in 2019 to hold monthly pop-up markets in the retail space at 2878 Broadway. The original participants were all graduates of the Harlem Local Vendor Program at the Columbia-Harlem Small Business Development Center, and though the group has expanded, the HLVP especially, and the SBDC generally, remain well represented among participants.
Following their debut this summer, they’ve had taken over the space for the second weekend of every month. There will be an extra day in November, on the 30th in recognition of Small Business Saturday. Vendors on Small Business Saturday will include Baobab Spa, Hashbags, and Smokks.
