Columbia President Lee C. Bollinger’s annual breakfast has been a cherished holiday tradition for many years. This year, as with last year, the university decided the public health risks were too great to host an event in person. That's when our fabulous partners in the community stepped in to make sure we could still bring some holiday cheer to our neighbors.

This year, we partnered with Chocolat Restaurant & Bar, Ricardo Steakhouse, Greedy Pot, Melba's Restaurant, Ponty Bistro, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, and BLVD Bistro to provide 750 meals to our neighbors during this holiday season. It was one small way we can support small businesses in our community and help our neighbors during these challenging times.

"My wife Jean and I offer our thanks to everyone who made this important community partnership possible," Bollinger said. "We wish you a happy, healthy holiday season and all the very best for the new year."

On behalf of the entire University, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season and look forward to all the great work we’ll do together in 2022.
