On Tuesday, December 10th, over 200 local community leaders joined Columbia University for the 21st Annual Friends and Neighbors Breakfast. Columbia Community Service (CCS) grantees, Community Board members, tenant resident leaders, elected officials, local nonprofits, business owners, and other esteemed guests entered the Low Memorial Library Rotunda and were greeted by the classical sounds of The Harlem Chamber Players, sweet aroma of Chocolat’s delectable offerings, and beautiful floral arrangements provided by la Fleur d ’Harlem.

Hosted by President Lee C. Bollinger, the breakfast provides a festive and informal networking opportunity for CU neighbors. A major highlight of this year's event was the University’s newly launched Neighbor’s Hub, a tool designed to foster collaboration and strengthen ties between the University and our surrounding community. The Hub includes a new website, monthly enewsletter, monthly printed bulletin in English and Spanish, this biannually printed newsletter, and outreach on social media platforms. For more information, visit the Neighbor’s Hub.
