The Forum Reopens Atrium with Celebratory Concert

March 22, 2022

Good news for Manhattanville! The Forum has announced the much-anticipated reopening of its ground-floor Atrium, which in accordance with public health guidelines, was closed to visitors at the onset of the pandemic. With the COVID-19 risk significantly diminished at this time, The Forum, located on the corner of 125th Street and Broadway, is now welcoming the community back into this shared gathering space. The Atrium, which has various seating options and free Wi-Fi, is open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.

To celebrate this reopening, The Forum is presenting “Women of the Movements,” a special Women’s History Month performance from the Harlem Chamber Players that will take place in the Atrium on Thursday, March 31 at 6 PM. The event is free and open to all; an RSVP is encouraged, but not required.

The live concert, featuring movements by four female composers, will be followed by a conversation with two of the composers, Tania León and Nkeiru Okoye, moderated by Harlem Chamber Players director, Liz Player.
