Columbia Supports Harlem BID’s Holiday Lights on 125th Street

December 23, 2014

Each year music, in-store and street activities, and festive lights signal that the holidays are near.  This winter season was no different as the 125th Street Business Improvement District (BID) installed decorative lighting and a holiday tree along the 125th Street corridor, complemented by family friendly activities.  The kickoff event was marked by an evening of holiday music, a Children’s Scavenger Hunt and a Parade of Lights as the holiday lights were illuminated along the corridor.  Once again, Columbia University joined other area businesses and institutions to extend support for this annual celebration.
