SPURS (Summer Program for Under-Represented Students) is a biomedical research program which provides research fellowship experiences on the Columbia Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons campus to undergraduate students from Universities in the City of Greater New York. The program is intended to provide meaningful training in biomedical research and enhance the students’ ability to achieve a career in biomedical research and/or medicine by pursuing an advanced degree.
