Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Greenmarket! 

Buy fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruits, and more every Tuesday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM at Haven Plaza through December 15.

This year marks a tremendous milestone for the Greenmarket program: our 50th Anniversary! What began in 1976, with 12 farmers gathering in an empty parking lot on a sweltering day in July, has grown into a vibrant farmers' market network of more than 200 farmers and producers across 45 Greenmarkets in all five boroughs. For 50 years, the Greenmarket has provided a stable marketplace for small regional farmers, keeping thousands of acres of Northeast farmland from being developed and ensuring we all have access to fresh and flavorful produce
