This clothing repair circle is the perfect opportunity to mend, repair, and altar your clothing and textiles. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced mender, this in-person event is open to all. Bring your favorite garments that need some love, and our friendly community of fellow menders will be there to offer guidance and support.
Sewing machine + other supplies like embroidery needles and thread will be provided.
This event is FREE with a $5 suggested donation.
In compliance with Word Up Community Safety guidelines, all attendees are encouraged to stay masked at all time.
Recirculation, a project of Word Up Community Bookshop, is located at 876 Riverside Drive (near 160th St.) in Washington Heights, NYC. You can take the 1 train to 157th St., A/C train to 163rd St., and the M4 and M5 to Broadway and 159/160th.
