Sounds at St. Nick, hosted and curated by renowned jazz vocalist Tyreek McDole, is a free event that takes place in St Nicholas Park, St Nicholas Avenue at the 135th Street Plaza, and James Baldwin Lawn. The event is organized by Friends of St. Nicholas Park and Harlem One Stop with support from the West Harlem Development Corporation and the NYC Parks and Recreation.
Sounds of Sr. Nick seeks to highlight emerging musicians of today who are building on the legacy of yesterday as they carry the sounds and spirit of the Harlem Renaissance forward.
