STEM Starters at Columbia University hosts a free workshop of experiment stations for local kids and their families in West Harlem. 

Come explore the Earth Through Time by building the map of ancient earth, play natural selection games and create your own super animal, learn about alternative sources of energy by building your own battery out of a vegetable, and more!

Content is geared toward a middle-school level science background, but all ages are welcome! Registration is free. Parents/Guardians are required to stay for the event. Please only register for 1 ticket per child, parents/guardians do not need a ticket. Attendees will rotate at their own paces between activity stations and talk with graduate student scientists as they learn.
