Join the Harry Belafonte-115th Street Library at the Speak Up Harlem: Civic Engagement & Unity Festival which will encourage and empower individuals to be involved in solving important societal issues.
Attendants will engage in workshops, interactive activities, and panel discussions to expand knowledge on social, environmental, and political issues while connecting with local organizations.
To commemorate this special event, the library's staff has compiled a selection of books for all ages highlighting Harlem's cultural significance. Reading Recommendations to Celebrate Harry Belafonte Library's Speak Up Harlem Festival 2024.
