Join Bloomingdale School of Music as they pay tribute to the legendary Ned Rorem, reminiscing his timeless music and celebrating his remarkable legacy.

Ned Miller Rorem was an American composer of contemporary classical music and a writer. Best known for his art songs, which number over 500, Rorem was considered the leading American of his time writing in the genre.

This recital will honor Rorem in recognition of his 100th anniversary. Works will include his Piano Sonata No.2 as well as solo piano transcriptions by Marc Peloquin of various songs and the second movement of his Piano Concerto No. 2.
