Join the Zuckerman Institute at the National Jazz Museum in Harlem on Thursday, November 30, for a jazz concert and dialogue about auditory & tactile perception.
Can music shape our sense of touch? Can sensual music affect our sexual receptivity? In this upcoming edition of Music on the Brain, we explore cross-sensory experiences–in particular, the connection between what we hear and what we feel.
Multi-instrumentalist jazz musician, composer, and educator T.K. Blue, pianist Sharp Radway, and Zuckerman Institute Neuroscientist Dr. Anastasia-Maria Zavitsanou will join together for this special event.
Music on the Brain is a collaboration between the National Jazz Museum in Harlem and Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute with the support of Jazz Foundation of America.
