Sing in the holidays with Every Voice Choirs! Join EVC for a free community event at The Lee C. Bollinger Forum at Columbia on Monday, December 15th, @ 6PM. Featuring choir performances and audience sing-alongs on old and new holiday favorites, this event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
Based at Columbia University Teachers College, Every Voice Choirs brings exceptional choral training to ALL children ages 7-17. Everyone is welcome in EVC's core choirs - Kids Choir and Youth Choir - without audition. EVC VoiceAbility meets the needs of children with disabilities. The auditioned Concert Choir provides the opportunity to perform challenging works in collaboration with adult choirs and orchestras. EVC’s Intergenerational Choir invites children to join with their trusted adults. EVC’s choirs have performed in premier NYC venues including Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and Citi Field.
