The Columbia Institute for Training Outreach and Community Health (InTOuCH) trains volunteers from churches and community-based organizations to conduct free health screenings and provide medical referrals. This FREE 8-week program covers topics such as stroke, diabetes, hypertension, and healthy eating, and includes hands-on skills like blood pressure measurement and A1c testing. Participants will gain Columbia CHW certification and have opportunities to engage in alumni and research activities.

First 6 weeks on Zoom, final 2 weeks in-person at Columbia University

Strong ties to the community

High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience

No hearing, visual, or memory impairments
