Join Columbia Astronomy for their series celebrating the upcoming April 8 eclipse at the New York Public Library.
Leading up to the total solar eclipse on April 8, Columbia Astronomy will be visiting a number of branches of the New York Public Library to talk about the eclipse and to lead some educational eclipse-related activities, mainly geared towards kids and parents. Here is the schedule of upcoming programming:
Saturday, March 16 at 11:00 am: St. Agnes Library (Intended audience: ages ~5-12)
Thursday, March 28 at 5:00 pm: Harlem Library (Intended audience: ages ~5-12)
Saturday, March 30 at 11:30 am: Harry Belafonte 115th St. Library (Intended audience: young kids (ages ~3-7) + parents)
Saturday, March 30 at 2:00 pm: Riverside Library (Intended audience: teens and adults)
Saturday, April 6 at 2:00 pm: Macomb's Bridge Library (Intended audience: kids (ages ~5-12) + parents)
