The Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia SIPA is hosting a series of events during Climate Week NYC. These events play a crucial role in fostering dialogue and collaboration among policymakers, industry leaders, scholars, and students dedicated to addressing climate change. Climate Week NYC, which coincides with the UN General Assembly in New York, is one of the largest climate gatherings in the world and features myriad events, from high-level policy discussions to grassroots community activities, all aimed at accelerating climate action and showcasing climate leadership.

CGEP events bring together diverse stakeholders, foster the exchange of knowledge, and propel momentum towards actionable climate strategies. By integrating these discussions within the broader context of Climate Week NYC, the Center amplifies its impact, contributing to global efforts to mitigate climate change.

Certain events may only be open CUID holders only. Events that take place on Morningside Campus may also be closed off to the public depending on the status of campus access. Please refer to Public Safety's website for more information on the color-coded campus status level system.
