Join African Voices and Reel Sisters of the Diaspora for an evening celebrating the influential women of hip hop!
Experience an exclusive screening of "Ladies First: A Story of Women in Hip Hop," followed by a discussion led by CR Capers, founder of Harlem Film House & the Hip Hop Film Festival. Our panel includes film producer Crystal Whaley, hip hop and house DJ Franchella, writer and director Liza Jessie Peterson, and photographer Evangeline Lawson.
MC'd by Derick Cross, the event also features readings from our issue and a special performance by poet, reg e gaines. Don't miss this cultural celebration!
