This event is the launch of the K-12 Outreach Program's latest resource: a bilingual guide for parents and teachers to navigate language, culture and education together.  The guide is bilingual because, for the first time, its use is intended for both teachers and parents of Colombian, Haitian and Venezuelan newcomers. Author Mizael Becerra is a Venezuelan teacher and Teachers Colleges (Columbia University) alum living and working between New Jersey and New York. The event will be held in English, but questions in Spanish are welcome!
