E2C provides Saturday workshops during which LDEO scientists provide broader outreach of their research to teachers and students. 9 programs are presented during the academic year. In addition, E2C offers 3 week-long Teacher Institutes during the summer to provide middle and high school teachers with increased subject content knowledge and assistance with implementing the Next Generation Science Standards, The E2C website provides a vast array of resources which are accessed by an international user group and averaged more than 65k hit per month since January.
