The Community Based Participatory Research Scholars and Awards Program (CBPR Program) fosters academic-community research partnerships between Columbia University faculty and not-for-profit organizations serving New York City.

Designed to stimulate community-engaged research, the CBPR Program provides participants with structured training, practical experience, and funding opportunity in community based participatory research methodology. Upon completion of the training course, academic-community dyads are eligible to apply for a one-year CBPR pilot award of $30,000.
