This is an opportunity to engage with a community of thought leaders committed to advancing the cause of reparatory justice. Our members will discuss a range of critical topics, including UN Sustainable Development Goal indicators for marginalized populations, local and municipal reparations initiatives, truth commissions, and data collection and analysis in support of the 2024 global Declaration on the Rights of People of African Descent.
The event is hosted by institutions including Howard University School of Law, University of Pittsburgh's Frederick Honors College, Center on Civil Rights and Racial Justice, and Center on Race and Social Problems, Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), FirstRepair, and the African American Redress Network (AARN).
