Join SAVE (Stand Against Violence East Harlem) for a block party on 112th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenue on Saturday, August 17. There will be a live D.J., giveaways, free hair cuts, Double Dutch contests, skellsies, Kick the Can, Red Light-Green Light, a bounce house, and snacks.

SAVE, a partner of Columbia's Connecting Youth Initiative, is built on the model established by Cure Violence, which seeks to empower Interrupters on our communities, to deter violent acts before they become reality, and to inspire our youth to take pride and ownership in their future. They are a subsidiary of GOSO (Getting Out and Staying Out).
