The New York Public Library presents, The COVID-19 Gap Year: Dos and Don’ts!
More students than ever are considering a possibility of taking a gap year between graduating high school and starting college than ever before. In this informational session, the pros, cons, and possibilities for students and families will be explored. Students and families will leave with an understanding of the differences between deferral, next-cycle application, and credit transfers between institutions. Further, we will explore the benefits of each, as well as give concrete advice and ideas on how to take and spend a productive gap year.
