CCS Grantee Event: HYPOTHESISters emPOWERed

November 16, 2019
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The Forum at Columbia University, 601 W. 125th St., New York, NY 10027
On November 16th you and your family are invited to come see what the girls from HYPOTHEsisters - a Saturday science club for 4th and 5th grade girls - have been working on, hear from women scientists about how they got to where they are, and create your very own constellation night light all while helping us raise funds to offer another girls club!

This fall we launched our first ever Saturday Science Club for girls and it was met with such enthusiasm that we had a waitlist of 20+! Offering this as a free program for the community was really important to us and now that we've seen the need firsthand, we're asking you for help to fill it!

With every $25 adult ticket purchased, you get one free child ticket. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly toward funding the next iteration of HYPOTHESISters! We know that girls' confidence declines in upper elementary - our program works to build that confidence, foster creativity, and empower the girls to see themselves as leaders!

Come spend the day with your families as we emPOWER our girls!

The 73rd Annual Appeal for Columbia Community Service is underway at Columbia, Barnard, and Teachers College. Learn more about CCS, their grantees, and what they accomplish with support from faculty and staff at Columbia.
