What does eating food have to do with your brain? BrainFood is a free educational public conversation and cooking demonstration that sheds light on the science involved in one of our most basic everyday behaviors: eating food.

Free meal ingredient kits are available for anyone to pick up at Mandala Cafe (1st Corinthians Baptist Church, 1912 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd) on August 18, 5-7 PM and the Harlem Grown Community Fridge (134th St, between Adam Clayton Powell Blvd and Lenox Ave) on August 18 and 19, 1-6 PM.

BrainFood is a recipient of a 2021 Center for Science and Society Public Outreach Grant. Additional support is provided by the Harlem Grown Community Fridge, Mandala Cafe, and Riverside Church.
