Old Broadway between 125th and 126th Street

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, the 6th Annual Back-2-School community event will take place on Old Broadway between 125th and 126th streets, from 1PM - 5PM. The event will be hosted by 26th Precinct Community Affairs along with Manhattan Community Board 9, and will feature:

  • School Supplies Distribution (Grades 1 to 7, while supplies last)
  • DJ & Entertainment
  • Rock Climbing
  • Haircuts
  • Bio-bus on Site
  • Hair Braiding
  • Refreshments
  • And a multitude of resources!

Columbia Community Service and the Office of Public Safety are proud to support this event by collecting the school supplies that will be distributed to local students. If you would like to donate, you can drop off donations of books, pens, pencils, rulers, crayons, notebooks, backpacks, calculators, binders, and folders to the following locations, no later than Friday, August 20: 

  • Morningside Campus: Public Safety Crime Prevention Office, Room 112 Low Library
  • Manhattanville Campus: Public Safety Operations 3270 Broadway (East side of Broadway between 131st and 132nd streets)
  • Medical Center: Public Safety Operations¬†William Black Medical Research Building (650 West 168th Street) Room 109
