Lunchtime Reading at P.S. 125 and P.S. 36Columbia administrators, faculty, staff, and students volunteer as reading partners to children at two Harlem elementary schools. Each Columbia volunteer has been matched with a single student and dedicates one hour per week during their lunch hour to read to students or listen to them read. Columbia students play squash with the kids and also help them with theirhomework.
